ABOUT

Alexandra is an experienced composer and music producer with a fast-growing portfolio of onscreen works, ranging from commercials to feature films. This Yorkshire-born musician has proven herself repeatedly over her years composing for the screen, which started with a bang when her first composition was premiered at Cannes Film Festival 2017 in the Short Film Corner. Since then she has worked tirelessly, proudly accomplishing two original feature film scores before the age of 30, and delivering her third feature score in 2022 for Dream Hacker (Clear Sky Cinema).

Her latest project composing the original score for upcoming supernatural horror Quail Hollow (Templeheart Studios) will be  delivered this year.

She has developed a prestigious brand repertoire that includes CNN and UNWTO, as well as composing the trailer for London Film Week 2019. She has also worked on several film projects created at the London Film School, one of which claimed Best Student Film at Feel The Reel International Film Festival 2022.

Alexandra started her music career DJing at age 18, which soon led her into the world of music production. She began her artistic journey releasing club tracks, releasing three EPs and two collaborative singles. An enduring love of the UK garage, grime and jungle scenes greatly influenced her production style.

As her career evolved she quickly felt boxed in by the constraints of solely electronic production, and fixed her focus steadily and unwaveringly on composing and arranging for the screen. Her passion and immersion in the projects she works on have lead to some extraordinary working relationships, with directors who return to work with her time and again.

From the very beginning Alexandra's sound has been bold, emotive and genre-bending, thanks to her eclectic musical palate and years spent DJing both in the UK and Ibiza. With 12 years diligently honing her craft, Alexandra takes immense pride in her unique style and experimental approach to her compositions.
