ALEXANDRA MILNE

Alexandra Milne is a Yorkshire-born composer, sound designer and music producer known for her courageous, genre-bending approach to screen composition.

Drawing on an unconventional musical background, her versatility spans hybrid scoring, innovative sound design, live recording and electronic production. Her distinctive creative sensibility has been honed through years of independent composition and experience at the highest end of the commercial media music industry.

Early in her career, Alexandra established herself in London's independent film scene with a succession of feature film scores, shorts and trailers, alongside an ongoing collaboration with London Film School. Her portfolio now spans festival and cinema releases across the UK, Europe and the US, with collaborations including award-winning directors and production companies such as CNN Create, One Tree Entertainment, Hungry Man Productions and Backmask.

Upon returning to Yorkshire, Alexandra secured a rare, coveted in-house composer position at one of Yorkshire's leading bespoke commercial music studios, WMP Studios. There, she created original music and sound design for premium brands and leading production houses alongside award-winning composers Ben McAvoy and William Featherby. Her distinctive talent for crafting premium sonic identities earned her the nickname 'Ident Queen'.

Most recently, her composition for Bristol Myers Squibb's 2026 rebrand, developed in partnership with Sonicbrand, won Gold for Best Audio Brand at the Transform Awards North America 2026.

Now composing independently, Alexandra continues to push the boundaries of her work across screen composition, sound design and sonic branding.
